The Meridian store has been full of excitement this year! Last fall we welcomed Shanon Allcott and Ben Hopwood as our new Store Manager and Assistant Manager. Since then, we’ve been working on a pretty extensive remodel, starting with the hardside.
The entire hardside was reset in February and completed at the beginning of March. We rearranged departments and had the entire store repainted. With the new paint job and new still life photos, our store has a wonderful new presentation from the moment you step in the door, which will only get better as our remodel wraps up in clothing.
We wrote a blog post with a few pictures a few weeks back about our Boise D&B remodel and as of this writing the first phase is complete, hick-ups fixed and the next phase is going well.
Customers and employees are enjoying the new openness of the clothing department and are eagerly awaiting the next phases for a more open environment throughout the store.
If you have been in the Boise D&B Supply store on the corner of Glenwood and State Street, you have probably noticed a bit of construction going on. Actually, quite a bit of construction, but all under control by store manager Shanon Allcott. The construction project consists of raising the ceiling, replacing the HVAC components and updating the floors began this month and will go through early Fall to make the shopping experience better for our customers and a more efficient building that has not been updated since 1982.
