On Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. be sure to come by the Nampa D&B Supply to meet Merri Melde the author of Soul Deep in Horses: Memoir of an Equestrian Vagabond. Merri is a horse photographer, artist, cartoonist and endurance horse conditioner, just to name a few of her chosen professions. Merri has written for over a dozen magazines, photographed for over two dozen magazines around the world, traveled in over three dozen countries, sometimes seeking adventure and enlightenment, and often chasing horses.

In Soul Deep in Horses: Memoir of an Equestrian Vagabond, Merri Melde paints a vivid portrait with her moving words of a unique life irrevocably entangled with horses—the beauty, the humor, the thrills, the fun, the fear, and above all, the love that goes deep down into the soul.

Part memoir, part travel and horse-riding adventure book, this heartfelt narrative packed with excitement and emotion will appeal not just to horse lovers, but to anybody who has ever experienced failure and success in following their dreams, and anyone who has ever lost their courage and rediscovered it once again.

You can connect with Merri on Facebook and D&B as well.

Merri’s book is very exciting. I read it from cover to cover and just couldn’t put it down until I finished it. One exciting adventure after the next. Merri has a way of making me feel like I am living the stories myself. Everyone should read it.
