Next week on October 3rd, 4th and 5th the Meridian FFA will be holding an Ag Expo at Meridian High School at the Professional Technical Center on the west side of campus. The attendees for three days are 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders from around the Meridian School District to educate the youngsters on the ag industry and where their food comes from.

There are 26 stations highlighting the FFA involvement with animals, machinery, commodities and history of Idaho Agriculture. There are approximately 160 classes that come through the Expo in the three days, with the help of hundreds of FFA volunteers teaching, educating and displaying how intertwined Idaho is with agriculture.

On Tuesday evening from 6:00pm — 8:00pm, there is an open house for the community for family and friends to view the displays and be educated as well by the FFA volunteers.

The next group of photos were taken on Monday, October 3, 2011. Find more pictures on our Facebook and Flickr sites.
